V Rising showcasing new MAJOR Update Oakveil

V Rising’s first major post-launch update, Invaders of Oakveil, is set to drop on April 28th, with Stunlock Studios unveiling its debut trailer and a new cosmetic DLC pack.
The update introduces Oakveil Woodlands, a corrupted forest warped by dark magic. Along the northern coast, the Venom Blades, loyal to Serpent Queen Megara, push their invasion. Players can explore this zone to gather venom sap, battle new enemies and bosses, and confront Megara in her lair.
Invaders of Oakveil brings fresh mechanics, including new weapons (Claw, Twinblade, Throwing Daggers), seven new spells, and upgraded Alchemy for deeper customization. Combat gets a full overhaul with new stat systems, balance tweaks, and more ways to tailor gameplay. Blood types have been reworked, with a new Corrupted Blood type unlocking elixirs inspired by the Venom Blades for novel strategies. The Fusion Forge enhances gear customization, while castles gain exciting additions like custom arenas for hosting practice bouts, tournaments, or global duels. New decor, crafting from chests and treasury rooms, and Gloomrot-style electrical routing for production lines round out the castle upgrades, easing inventory woes.
Stunlock also revealed the Eternal Domination Pack, a $19.99 cosmetic DLC featuring gothic flair like golden cages and gilded castle decor.
