Torchlight Infinite’s SS7 Reshapes The Netherrealm

Torchlight is gearing up for the launch of SS7 on January 10, which introduces new mechanics to the action RPG. The season, titled "Arcana," brings a tarot card-based mechanic designed to create dynamic challenges. Tarot cards are scattered throughout the Netherrealm, each with unique effects. For example, The Hermit card warns players about hidden assassins, while The Sun generates radiant energy that engulfs the battlefield. Completing these dynamic challenges will unlock a board-game-inspired mechanic called Tarot Secret Path.
Another feature in the upcoming update is a new growth system for Pactspirits known as "Destiny." This system allows players to install Fates and Kismets on talent nodes. Fates provide boosts, while Kismets are rare mechanics that open up new builds.
The update also introduces a new hero named Iris, known as "The Vigilant Breeze." Iris merges with Spirit Magi to wield elemental abilities. She can enhance the Magi's powers or support them with her life restoration capabilities.
Players can look forward to these exciting new features and mechanics in Torchlight's SS7 update launching on January 10.
