Titan Quest 2 Devs Reveal New Road Map

If the relentless seasonal grind of Diablo 4 or Path of Exile 2 feels like too much, Titan Quest 2 offers a refreshing ARPG escape. Recently launched in early access, the sequel from Grimlore Games is already winning fans, sporting an 85% positive Steam review score from over 7,500 players. Despite its compact campaign slice, the game’s combat, build diversity, and story are earning praise, positioning it as a potential standout among Diablo-like titles. Grimlore has now unveiled its first Titan Quest 2 roadmap, outlining plans for new features like a character creator to keep the momentum going.

The roadmap is Grimlore’s commitment to refining Titan Quest 2 after its strong early access debut. Unlike season-driven ARPGs, this sequel aims to hook players with its core strengths: satisfying combat, varied builds, and a replayable campaign. Grimlore plans major updates roughly every three months, potentially adding new masteries, campaign chapters, a character creator, and gameplay systems, alongside smaller patches for mechanics tweaks, localization, and hotfixes for bugs and balance.

Grimlore sees early access as vital in the crowded ARPG space, allowing iterative improvements to deliver a top-tier experience. A character creator is a priority, expected in one of the first major updates, while co-op—currently in preview—will evolve into a robust multiplayer mode by the 1.0 release. Masteries, targeted at “at least six” for launch, will prioritize versatility and impact over sheer numbers, with potential DLC or expansions later. The team is also crafting endgame systems but is currently focused on polishing the campaign.

Titan Quest 2 is available now for $29.99 / £24.99 on Steam and the Epic Games Store, with a planned price hike to $49.99 at its 1.0 launch, tentatively set for late 2026.
