The Elder Scrolls Online Fallen Banners DLC Dropped

As promised, The Elder Scrolls Online rolled out its new Fallen Banners DLC dungeon pack for PC players today. This pack brings two fresh dungeons tied into a larger tale where you’re tasked with keeping Cyrodiil from spiraling into chaos. In the first, Lep Seclusa, you’ll team up with Sister Chana to fend off Orpheon the Tactician, who’s gunning for the Moth Priests and the Elder Scroll they protect. Your job is to hold the line and safeguard the sanctuary’s people and mysteries.
The second dungeon, Exiled Redoubt, drops you into an Imperial fortress to figure out why Alliance War soldiers keep vanishing. Oddly, their faction doesn’t seem to matter—everyone’s fair game. You’ll join forces with Battlemage Lucilla to storm the stronghold and put an end to the mystery.
New dungeons mean new rewards, naturally. You can snag fresh collectibles, item sets, and other treats, like the eye-catching Tactician’s Gold Lattice Skin. Since this is DLC, though, it’s not free—you’ll need an active ESO Plus membership to dive in. If you don’t have one or let it lapse, you’ll need to pony up, and losing your subscription later means losing access too.
On top of the DLC, today also brought the update 45 base-game patch to PC, which is free for all players. It spruces up the starter zone with better visuals, squashes some bugs, and throws in various quality-of-life tweaks. Plus, it’s a chance for Alliance War vets to test out some updates to the game’s open-world PvP—if you’re on PC or Mac, that is. Console players will have to wait until March 26 for both the DLC and the patch to hit their systems.
