Space Marine 3 ANNOUNCED!

Published on: 3/12/2025
Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 smashed it out of the park, and now the inevitable has been confirmed: Space Marine 3 is in the works. Saber Interactive and Games Workshop dropped the news today, letting fans know that the next chapter of this iconic series is officially underway.
“Space Marine 2 was a game-changer for us,” said Matthew Karch, CEO of Saber Interactive. “It’s the pinnacle of what we’ve learned in 25 years of making games. Now, we’re diving into Space Marine 3, and with a growing legion of fans behind us, the pressure’s on to deliver. We’ll keep expanding the Space Marine 2 world for years to come, but we’re channeling everything we’ve mastered into making the third game even grander and more jaw-dropping.”
No specifics have been shared yet, but Focus Entertainment’s deputy CEO, John Burt, hinted at what’s ahead: “Expect a gripping campaign, multiplayer action, and some fresh twists that’ll shake up what you think a third-person action game can be.”
Here’s a small teaser—well, maybe a spoiler: the promo image features Titus, suggesting he made it through Space Marine 2 and will be back for round three. Hardly shocking, right?
Honestly, none of this is a big surprise. The Space Marine series has been a goldmine for Saber and Focus, standing tall among the crowded field of Warhammer 40,000 titles. Announcing the third game this soon might raise an eyebrow, but it’s not a sign that Space Marine 2 is getting shelved. Burt stressed that Saber and Focus are committed to pumping out “exciting content and regular updates” for it in the years ahead.
Lately, Saber’s had to address some hiccups with Space Marine 2’s updates and events, which sparked chatter among players that it’s morphing into a live-service title. The studio shot that down, promising that event-exclusive items won’t stay exclusive forever—easing the FOMO for those who can’t jump in right away.
