Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 smashed it out of the park, and now the inevitable has been confirmed: Space Marine 3 is in the works. Saber Interactive and Games Workshop dropped the news today, letting fans know that the next chapter of this iconic series is officially underway.

“Space Marine 2 was a game-changer for us,” said Matthew Karch, CEO of Saber Interactive. “It’s the pinnacle of what we’ve learned in 25 years of making games. Now, we’re diving into Space Marine 3, and with a growing legion of fans behind us, the pressure’s on to deliver. We’ll keep expanding the Space Marine 2 world for years to come, but we’re channeling everything we’ve mastered into making the third game even grander and more jaw-dropping.”

No specifics have been shared yet, but Focus Entertainment’s deputy CEO, John Burt, hinted at what’s ahead: “Expect a gripping campaign, multiplayer action, and some fresh twists that’ll shake up what you think a third-person action game can be.”

Here’s a small teaser—well, maybe a spoiler: the promo image features Titus, suggesting he made it through Space Marine 2 and will be back for round three. Hardly shocking, right?

Honestly, none of this is a big surprise. The Space Marine series has been a goldmine for Saber and Focus, standing tall among the crowded field of Warhammer 40,000 titles. Burt stressed that Saber and Focus are committed to pumping out “exciting content and regular updates” for it in the years ahead.
