Rebuild the Sharval Wilds and Earn New Rewards in Diablo Immortal

Published on: 1/8/2026

Following the successful campaign to save the Sharval Wilds from Albrecht, Diablo Immortal players are now being called upon to help rebuild the region. The game’s first major update of the year, landing globally by Wednesday, January 7, 2026, kicks off the Shattered Wilds limited-time event.

This update serves as a bridge between the heavy content drops of late 2025 and the new year, focusing on events and rewards to get players back into the action.

The "Shattered Wilds" Event

Starting January 7, players can earn "Shattered Wilds progress" by participating in two returning fan-favorite game modes. The event runs for two weeks and is split into two phases:

  • Survivor’s Bane: Available from January 7 – 14.

  • Trial of the Hordes: Available from January 14 – 21.

By completing tasks in these modes, players can unlock valuable loot, including Telluric Pearls, Legendary and Set items, and one-star Legendary Gems.

New Battle Pass: Boreal Nomads

Arriving midway through the month on January 14, a new Battle Pass titled Boreal Nomads will become available. It features 40 levels of rewards, including crests and gems on the free track, while the premium track will offer exclusive new cosmetics.

Other Returning Events in January

In addition to the rebuilding efforts, the update brings back several other rotational events to keep the calendar full:

  • Conqueror: Returns on January 9.

  • Hungering Moon: Returns on January 10.

  • Shady Stock: Returns on January 17.

With a schedule packed with events, Blizzard and NetEase are starting 2026 by keeping players engaged while the community eagerly awaits a full roadmap for the year ahead.
