Path Of Exile Extends Phrecia League to Late April

Grinding Gear Games has decided to prolong the Legacy of Phrecia event for Path of Exile, giving players more time to tinker with the 19 Ascendancies, often leading to some amusing outcomes, until April 23rd. The developers have also provided a rough timeline for the upcoming expansion.

The team has been pouring their efforts into enhancing Path of Exile 2, acknowledging that they may have bitten off more than they could chew in their rush to release it in Early Access. As a result, they're asking for players' understanding with Path of Exile while they refine PoE 2, and they've introduced initiatives like the Legacy of Phrecia event to keep things engaging.

Once the event concludes, Grinding Gear Games will make Private League templates available at no cost, allowing players to continue exploring the event content on their own terms.

Regarding the next expansion, the event extension announcement mentions that the team has "solid plans" for version 3.26. They tentatively aim to launch the expansion in June, with more details likely to emerge sometime after Legacy of Phrecia wraps up. While this isn't a firm commitment, it does provide a general timeframe.

Although it's still a few months until the next major content update, the Grinding Gear Games crew seems dedicated to keeping the game enjoyable and maintaining open communication with players.
