Path of Exile 3.26 Update: Private League Templates Revealed

Published on: 4/22/2025
The Legacy of Phrecia event officially concludes today, marking the end of an exciting chapter for Path of Exile. While fans eagerly await the June release window for the 3.26 update, Grinding Gear Games (GGG) has unveiled a new way to keep players engaged: Private League templates.
In a recent update, GGG announced that even though the Legacy of Phrecia event has ended, players can continue experimenting with its mechanics through these new templates. Starting next week, 15 templates will be released for PC, allowing players to create custom events with up to 20,000 participants. These templates won't be customizable with modifiers, but they offer a diverse range of experiences to suit different playstyles.
The events are inspired by the Settlers League and include options like the straightforward “Just Settlers,” as well as more complex setups that incorporate Ascendancies or the Idol system from Legacy of Phrecia. For those seeking a greater challenge, GGG has crafted templates that ramp up the difficulty—perfect for players chasing glory and setting new personal or global records.
Today's post includes an overview of the event types and rules, with more details to follow next week. Players can look forward to learning everything they need to prepare for these exciting private leagues as GGG continues to deliver creative ways to enjoy Path of Exile. Stay tuned!
