Grinding Gear Games is turning up the heat at Gamescom Cologne 2025 with an electrifying hands-on event for Path of Exile 2 fans: the Boss Rush Challenge. From August 20–24, the studio invites attendees to test their mettle in a relentless gauntlet featuring 15 bosses pulled straight from the upcoming sequel’s varied Acts.
Face the Challenge
Players will have just 20 minutes to conquer as many of these formidable foes as they can. The faster you clear, the higher you climb—the booth will feature a live leaderboard tracking top performers daily, spotlighting those who combine precision, power, and speed.
Creator Showdowns
Don’t miss the daily 1v1 Boss Rush showdowns from 1–3PM, where invited content creators go head-to-head in survival-style battles. Victory goes to those who defeat the most bosses with the shortest times. The leaderboard resets each day, giving fresh contenders a chance to seize the crown.
Snap, Share, Win
For fans just wanting a memento (and maybe some swag), the Vaal Orb Avatar booth will be set up for selfies. Post your snapshot to social media and you could score Path of Exile 2 merchandise and exclusive rewards.
