Path Of Exile 2 Devs working on Hotfixes for crashes

GGG’s live-update thread highlights other fixes, too. Crashes tied to Legion and Scourge Commander microtransactions led to their temporary disablement in town areas. The pesky “Unknown object type serialized by server” error has been tackled, and Nvidia Reflex is off while the team investigates FPS stuttering. The sixth hotfix, aimed at rebalancing tanky enemies, adjusts midgame and cruel-difficulty foes—non-unique monsters from levels 15 to 46 now have 25% less life, with the effect tapering off at lower and higher levels. Rogue exiles also took a 40% life cut. Though briefly deployed, this fix was pulled back for a realm restart, which GGG promises to schedule soon. Check the Path of Exile forum for ongoing updates.
Despite the bumps and competition from Monster Hunter Wilds’ Title Update 1, Dawn of the Hunt has been a hit. On April 4, Path of Exile 2 hit 238,836 concurrent Steam players—its highest since January—surpassing the original game’s peak of 229,337 from July 2024’s Settlers of Kalguur launch.
