Newcoming ARPG Dragonkin The Banished's Unique Endgame Build System Offers Something New to Players

Eko Software is transforming build experimentation with the upcoming launch of Dragonkin: The Banished. If you enjoy the process of crafting your own ideal character setup, Dragonkin offers an inventive way to do just that. Upon reaching the endgame, players will be presented with a unique skill system that turns build crafting into puzzle-solving using a unique grid system called the Ancestral Grid.

Endgame Dragonkin's skills will rely on your ability to harness the Ancestral Grid, which evolves with your chosen dragon character as you progress into the endgame. To optimize the Grid, you need to find Fragments scattered throughout the world - making a unique blend of hexagons that will be combined inside the Ancestral Grid.

Some Fragments come with modifiers, adding depth to Dragonkin’s upgrade system. Depending on where you place a Fragment’s modifier, you can enhance other skills if they are adjacent. This allows you to upgrade your build’s skills by strategically positioning Fragments on the Ancestral Grid, transforming mediocre abilities into game-changers. The main town even has a training arena to experiment with Fragment and modifier combinations.

During your Dragonkin adventure, you'll be accompanied by a Wyrmling, a small, dragon-like creature tied to a specific element. You can choose a Wyrmling with powers of fire, ice, electricity, or toxicity, each offering different benefits. Additionally, Wyrmlings have their own skills and Fragments that you can place on the Ancestral Grid. Placing these Wyrmling skills next to your own, much like the modifiers, allows you and your tiny dragon companion to combine abilities.
