New Path Of Exile Event Bringing Crazy Witch & Ultimate Gambler

Grinding Gear Games (GGG) announced an experimental event to test some of the most "unhinged ideas" for the original Path of Exile's ascendancy classes, in an attempt to please players who are feeling left out in the rain with no new Path of Exile season in the near future. GGG started things off by sharing two new ascendancy concepts that they are hoping could bring some new life into their original title Path of Exile.

The first is the Harbinger ascendancy for the Witch, reminiscent of the Path of Exile 2 Sorceress’s Chronomancer. This class can manipulate time, extend buffs, decrease debuffs, significantly reduce cooldowns, become immune to ailments while channeling spells, and summon Greater Harbingers from its homeworld for combat assistance.

The second concept is the Gambler ascendancy for the Duelist, a "perfect class for risk lovers." Its nodes are centered around luck—a mechanic that rolls chances twice and takes the higher value. For instance, Spectacular Parlay reduces the likelihood of landing damaging hits but greatly increases the chances of those hits being critical. This class promises some thrilling gameplay clips.

GGG is also engaging the community by asking which ascendancies they should showcase next. Currently, 'Disciple of the Trialmaster' is leading against 'Daughter of Oshabi' and 'Servant of Arakaali.' Additionally, they teased an image of an expanded map device, hinting at extra functionalities yet to be revealed.

While there’s no set date for the Path of Exile Legacy of Phrecia event yet. GGG explained that it’s hard to pinpoint the timeline given how quickly the update is coming together but, have promised more details over the next week.
