Following a wildly successful Early Access launch on April 14th, developer Kraken Express isn't resting on its laurels. The highly anticipated pirate survival Windrose peaked at an impressive 210,000 concurrent players in its opening weekend and has maintained a robust average of around 100,000 daily swashbucklers since.

Now, the studio has released its first community update, detailing how they plan to plug the inevitable holes in their ship and what players can expect on the horizon.

Battening Down the Hatches: Focus on Fixes

While many developers rush to push new content, Kraken Express is taking a measured approach. The immediate priority for the upcoming patches is strictly focused on stability and squashing bugs.

Currently in internal testing, the next update will introduce over 50 fixes and Quality of Life (QoL) improvements. High-priority targets include:
