Last Epoch's Sentinel Rework and Heartseeker Skill

Last Epoch’s Tomb of the Erased update, set for release on April 17th after a brief delay, introduces a major Sentinel class overhaul and a new Heartseeker skill. The Sentinel rework centers on Volatile Reversal, a skill previously used for its buffs but considered lackluster. It’s now a dynamic melee traversal skill with a new skill tree, letting players teleport into enemies for an area attack, choose to follow up, and either return to their starting point or stay put, offering flexible build options.

Eleventh Hour Games detailed the reworked Volatile Reversal, highlighting its teleportation mechanics and versatile skill tree, which supports aggressive or tactical playstyles alongside other new skills. Meanwhile, the Heartseeker skill, tailored for the Marksman, delivers high single-target damage with a unique Recurve Chance mechanic. This gives a 100% base chance (and higher) for projectiles to loop back and strike again, backed by a robust skill tree that enhances its potential.
