Last Epoch’s next big chapter, Season 2: Tombs of the Erased, drops on April 2nd, and Eleventh Hour Games is hyping it up with a shiny new trailer and a deep dive into what they’re calling their most ambitious update yet.
This patch officially rolls out the Weaver Faction, a group that’s been teased through items before but now steps into the spotlight as a full-fledged faction. They come with their own faction tree, letting you tweak your monolith timelines in the endgame for a fresh twist on progression. There’s also a new Echo variant called Woven Echoes, which not only showcase the Weaver’s unique flair but also bring some exclusive rewards to the table. To tie it all together, Eleventh Hour is launching Woven Supporter packs alongside the season, starting at $9.99.
What this all adds up to is a beefier endgame, and the best part? The Weaver Faction is open to everyone, no matter your current faction ties. You’ll also get to roam through eerie new zones like tombs and graveyards, facing off against new endgame bosses in Tombs of the Erased. This update introduces Champion enemies with special Champion Affixes—tough foes designed for players craving a serious challenge, with their loot boasting unique affixes you won’t find elsewhere.
Community feedback sparked a couple of standout changes, too. First up is Mastery Respecialization—after plenty of player requests, switching your mastery won’t lock you in forever starting in April, so you won’t need to roll a new character if you’re second-guessing your choice. Another big win is a revamp of the Sentinel class, stripping away some old restrictions and boosting their skills. Expect reworked passive trees, refined playstyles, better balance, and upgrades to mobility and defenses.
The team’s also packed in a slew of quality-of-life upgrades. There’s a new inventory tab system, WASD movement support (still in beta), and dungeon tweaks—like key charms that let you skip straight to the boss once you’ve cleared a dungeon before. Plus, they’ve teased some polish for the endgame and crafting systems to dig into.
If you shelled out for Season 1, Season 2: Tombs of the Erased lands as a free update on April 5th. Twitch Drops are back, too, with up to five rewards up for grabs if you tune into official creators streaming the game. Head over to the Last Epoch Steam page for the full scoop.
