Last Epoch Teases Season 5: Rage of the Frostborn

Eleventh Hour Games has dropped a cryptic new teaser trailer for the next major update to Last Epoch. Officially titled Season 5: Rage of the Frostborn, the upcoming season promises to bring a dark and visceral new chapter to the time-traveling ARPG, while finally locking in its highly anticipated release date of October 1st.
A Bloody Warning
The brief, 21-second teaser is light on specific gameplay mechanics but heavy on atmosphere. The video features an ominous voiceover directly addressing the player:
"I remember your strength, traveler. The wound never heals. Prepare yourself. I am all blood."
While the grim, blood-focused narration sets a dark tone, the biggest takeaway from the short teaser is the confirmation of the brutal new threat: the demigod Morditas. Freed from his icy prison, Heorot's rebellious eldest son will rise to feed on violence, serving as both the driving force of the seasonal mechanic and the new endgame boss.
Although the studio is keeping the exact details of how Morditas's mechanics and the new progression systems will work under wraps for now, fans can look forward to a full breakdown very soon. Eleventh Hour Games is expected to reveal much more detailed information regarding the new seasonal features, itemization updates, and class balance changes in September as the October 1st launch approaches.
