GGG Bringing MORE Improvements to Path Of Exile 2
Published on: 4/9/2025
Grinding Gear Games is refining Path of Exile 2 based on player input, including feedback from the Dawn of the Hunt update, with a series of tweaks and additions planned for the coming days. Their focus is on boosting underperforming elements, with significant balance adjustments targeting the Sorceress and Huntress, alongside minor updates for the Warrior and Ranger.
A new support gem, Inhibitor, will debut to prevent charge consumption. Initially, they planned to include a 4% damage boost for supported skills, but to avoid delays, they’re launching it without this extra perk. Other enhancements include new crafting runes to ease early-game progression and a minimap tweak ensuring rare items are always visible, especially in the endgame. To address complaints about overwhelming monster swarms, they’re exploring targeted reductions to monster speed, with more details to follow.
They also tackled a Ritual exploit that emerged overnight, outlining their response and the penalties issued to those involved.
