Diablo Immortal’s upcoming update spices things up with a returning tournament, new Legendary affixes, familiar events, balance adjustments, and a new feature to curb AFK farming. The update rolls out globally by Wednesday, August 13, 2025.
For competitive players, the Bout of Realms tournament opens registration from August 13 to 17, locking in teams after. This cross-server Tower War PvP event pits teams of eight against others in their region. The preliminary round features 15 matches over three days, with 64 teams advancing to the finals. The top four will battle it out on August 31 to claim victory. Rewards include titles, temporary visual effects, cosmetics, and Legendary Crests. Running now through August 27, the Gambler’s Toil event brings back Conqueror, Alley of Blood, and Wild Brawl, offering extra loot like Set Items, gold, Tellurium Pearls, Legendary Items, and gems. Players can track tasks and rewards to stay on top of their progress.
To tackle AFK farming, acid pits will now spawn and eliminate idle players who linger too long. The update also introduces new Legendary affixes for each class, alongside tweaks like an updated Set Bonus UI and a refined Familiar swap button.
