Diablo Immortal’s 12th major update, The Prince of Freedom, advances the Epoch of Madness narrative with fresh content, including Party Duels, new Helliquary bosses, and Ancient Legendary items.
In the main quest, you pursue Albrecht to Highfork, a forest town, chasing clues, teaming up with unexpected allies, and deciphering ominous visions that hint at a grim future for Sharval and Sanctuary. The desperate residents of Sharval may pose a dangerous threat.
A new feature, Party Duels, introduces a streamlined 4v4 PvP mode. Challenge another team to fight for badges and bragging rights, with nearby monsters ignoring you during the duel.
The update brings Bloomhollow Helliquary bosses—three nature-themed monstrosities stirred by Sharval’s darkness: Thorncrown, Crooked Bough, and Abysslurker. Defeat them to unlock Inferno Difficulties VII, VIII, and IX.
Ancient Legendary items debut, starting with Helmets boasting four Attributes and four Affixes each. Obtain them via drops or craft them with a new resource, Ancient Artifacts, to boost your combat rating and unlock new build possibilities.
