Crimson Desert will have a Playable Demo at Gamescom

Pearl Abyss is showcasing Crimson Desert at Gamescom, bringing their open-world action RPG to Germany for the year’s biggest summer gaming event, where fans can get hands-on with the game.
The demo, which I experienced at Summer Game Fest Play Days earlier this month, marks the first opportunity for the public to explore Crimson Desert’s open world. Players will guide protagonist Kliff through intense battles against waves of enemies to reunite with his missing Greymane ally.
For fans eagerly awaiting this visually stunning RPG, it’s a thrilling moment. Despite some challenges I faced during the Summer Game Fest demo, the experience was a captivating spectacle that has me eager for the full release later this year.
The demo will be hosted in the Entertainment Hall at Cologne’s Koelnmesse Exhibition Center. Attendees who navigate the crowds will score exclusive Crimson Desert merchandise as a reward.
Crimson Desert is set to launch this fall on PC, Xbox Series S|X, and PS5, with a native macOS version in development.
