Blizzard Disables Overpowered Rogue Unique in Diablo IV

Blizzard Entertainment has disabled the effects of the Ichorous Salvation gloves, a powerful Rogue Unique in Diablo IV, after players discovered its damage scaling potential.
The issue was brought to light through a video shared on Chinese social media platform Bilibili, with members of the Sanctuary Diablo IV Discord server sharing their own damage statistics while using the gloves. Given its ability to dramatically boost damage output, Blizzard took swift action to disable the item's effects.
There is currently no confirmation on whether the gloves will be adjusted or reactivated in the future. According to a report from PC Gamer, the item was initially categorized as a “placeholder,” though Blizzard has opted not to remove it from players’ inventories.
The Ichorous Salvation gloves debuted in Diablo IV Season 8, which introduced Belial, the Lord of Lies, as a formidable boss. Alongside Belial, the season brought revamped bosses and new Seasonal powers for players to obtain by defeating world bosses and other high-level enemies.
