This is our primary attack, which will grant us access to the Blood Tether ability which deals damage over time to Rares and Bosses. The most important nodes for this skill tree are Rip Spirit, Blood Bond, and Mana Feast which will convert our Rip Blood ability to necrotic, give us access to Blood Tether, and give us mana when we consume a Blood Orb, respectively.

We will put 20 points into our Acolyte passive tree, which will grant us access to the other mastery passive trees. This tree is going to provide us with several foundation stats. We will gain Intelligence, which is our primary scaling attribute for damage and will grant us ward retention as well. We will also gain armor, and poison and necrotic Resistances.
