Pyromancer Fire Dreeg's Evil Eye Endgame Build Guide
Last Updated: Aug 06, 2026 by RektByProtoss
About
Rekt's Pyromancer (Occultist + Demolitionist) build transforms Dreeg's Evil Eye (DEE) into a fire and burn DoT engine. By combining the Ember's Calling set with the Tome of Atonement off-hand, the build converts Acid and Vitality damage from DEE directly into Fire and Burn damage.
Designed with Patch 1.2 mechanics in mind, this setup relies heavily on massive health regeneration, layered resistance reduction, and a hit-and-run kiting playstyle. Because damage is delivered primarily through high-impact Damage-over-Time (DoT) ticks, you can constantly stay on the move while enemies burn down. This build excels in high-tier Shattered Realm (SR 80+) and end-game super bosses like Ravager and Callagdra.
Skill Rotation
Because this is a cooldown-based Burn DoT build, the rotation focuses on layering resistance reduction (RR) first, applying long-duration DoTs, and kiting while skills recharge:
Debuff & Lower Resistances:
Cast Curse of Frailty on approaching enemies to slow them and strip elemental resistances via Vulnerability.
Drop Thermite Mines directly in the path of enemies for massive Fire Resistance Reduction.
Apply Main Damage & Secondary Debuffs:
Throw Blackwater Cocktail (modified with High Potency) to apply Agonizing Flames (flat RR) and Demon Fire (reduces enemy damage output).
Cast Dreeg's Evil Eye (modified with Focused Gaze) on cooldown to apply your primary heavy Burn DoT.
Toss Flashbang to lower enemy Defensive Ability and disrupt incoming attacks with Fumble and Impaired Aim.

Demolitionist
Dreeg's Evil Eye, Terrifying Gaze, & Focused Gaze:
Dreeg's Evil Eye and Terrifying Gaze are maxed out to scale base damage, critical damage, and splash potential.
Focused Gaze adds a cooldown to DEE while drastically multiplying its total damage output and critical strike damage, making it a single-cast heavy Burn applicator. (Note: Nodes like Blood Burst or Vile Eruption are skipped or minimized since local skill conversion does not benefit their non-DoT components effectively).
Curse of Frailty & Vulnerability:
Curse of Frailty provides wide-area crowd control, while Vulnerability is maxed out for essential Elemental Resistance Reduction.
Blood of Dreeg & Aspect of the Guardian:
Blood of Dreeg is maxed to supply constant bursts of healing, passive health regeneration, and Offensive Ability.
Aspect of the Guardian is soft-capped for crucial Physical Resistance and Poison/Acid Resistance.
Possession:
Maxed out as the build's exclusive aura. While it does not boost Fire damage directly, it provides indispensable flat Damage Absorption and Skill Disruption Protection.
