Elementalist Pyran Fire Motor Trap

About
Rekt's Pyran Elementalist takes one of Grim Dawn’s most infamous "odd" class combinations and transforms it into an immortal artillery powerhouse for Patch 1.2. Built around a fully converted Fire and Burn Mortar Trap setup, this Hardcore-ready build leverages the patch's health regeneration rework to passively pump out anywhere from 5,000 to 10,000 Health Regeneration per second while deploying up to four Mortar Traps simultaneously.
Build Introduction
This build is a Fire Mortar Trap Elementalist (Demolitionist + Shaman) optimized for Patch 1.2 Hardcore play.
Core Synergies: The build heavily utilizes the 4-piece Pyran Set, which converts Mortar Trap damage to Fire, buffs total skill summon capacity, and provides massive passive Health Regeneration. Patch 1.2 significantly improved health regeneration scaling and allowed players to easily deploy up to 4 Mortar Traps simultaneously (when combined with item skill modifiers like Dawnshard Grip).
Patch 1.2 Buffs: In addition to health regen buffs, the 4-piece Pyran Proc skill was updated in Patch 1.2 to include a baseline 12% Damage Reduction effect. This frees up skill points previously required for abilities like Blackwater Cocktail while maintaining strong defensive layers.
Build Playstyle: Extremely durable and hit-and-run friendly. With over 5,000 baseline Health Regeneration (peaking near 10,000 during procs), high physical resistance, and passive absorption layers, the character relies on stationary Mortar Traps to melt enemies and bosses in endgame content like Shattered Realm (SR 80–81) and Superbosses.
